  Despite a pretty bad review on lonely planet I thought it was good! Close to the centre of town. Big room with a double bed and fan. Well kept. Plenty of water for shower and helpful owner (desire my lack of Portuguese and poor French). It's basic but very well kept compared to other places in guinea and elsewhere. If you are stopping in town overnight I would highly recommend it. I paid 15000 CFA for the night.

  Great place with a lot of charm and character. Very nicely decorated - plenty of paintings, crafts, souvenirs etc to keep the place alive. It's also filled with plants in flowerpots which I think is a great idea (and not all that common in Guinnea-Bissau).
